Dr. Karrie Lee
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Breathe Ambassador- A prestigious recognition of expertise in airway health.

Dr. Karrie is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and specializes in pediatric airway and oral function. Her passion for helping infants and children thrive comes from her own journey as a mom of 3 boys and her own nursing struggles. She has pursued continuing education on pediatric airway and tethered oral tissues and has performed hundreds of frenectomies on children ranging from 10 days old to 10 years old. She uses a CO2 laser (LightScalpel) to perform the frenectomies because of its reduced operative time, minimal bleeding, and minimal postoperative discomfort.
Meagan Dungan, a Certified Speech Pathologist & Orofacial-Myofunctional Specialist, has over 10 years of experience specializing in feeding, speech, and oral-motor development. She has dedicated her career to helping children of all ages overcome feeding difficulties, speech challenges, and airway concerns.
Her expertise spans infant feeding, oral-motor delays, tongue-tie therapy, and myofunctional therapy. Meagan believes that feeding and speech development are deeply connected and takes a whole-child approach to ensure lasting success.
As a wife and mother, Meagan understands the real-life struggles families face. She is passionate about empowering parents, providing clear guidance, and making therapy both effective and family-centered.

Before Elevate ever existed, Dr. Karrie and Meagan were each building their own practices just 14 miles apart.
Dr. Karrie, a dedicated pediatric dentist in Aubrey, specialized in gentle and effective tongue tie release procedures (frenectomies) at her dental office. Meanwhile, Meagan, a passionate speech-language pathologist and feeding therapist, was supporting families through feeding challenges at her own therapy practice.
As fate would have it, we quickly found ourselves sharing many of the same patients — working side-by-side (but from two different locations) to help children in their feeding, speech, and airway development.
But there was one constant piece of feedback we kept hearing from parents:
"The drive back and forth between two places is so hard."
"It’s just too much to juggle with everything else going on."
We listened. And we knew there had to be a better way.
One summer day in 2024, over a casual conversation, we decided it was time to bring everything under one roof — combining our expertise, our passion, and our love for families into one space designed just for you.
That’s how Elevate Feeding and Tongue Tie Specialty Center was born — with your family’s best interest in mind.
Today, our mission is the same as it was on that very first day:
To make the journey easier, more connected, and full of hope — so your child can thrive.
Welcome to Elevate. We’re honored to be part of your child’s story.
At Elevate Feeding and Tongue Tie Specialty Center,
our journey began with a shared passion: helping children thrive.
